My guest, Susan Flanagan, published not one but two books in 2021: the Degrees of Barley Lick, a young adult novel (published by Running the Goat Books and Broadsides) and Supermarket Baby, winner of the 2019 Percy Janes First Novel Award (published by Flanker Press.) Susan is also a mom to five kids, a freelance journalist, columnist, outdoor enthusiast and aspiring amateur naturalist. Enjoy the show!
